Preparing for the Session: Building Rapport and Planning with Carly
Prior to the photoshoot, Carly’s mom and I had a few productive calls. During these conversations, we discussed outfit choices, their order, location options, and fun ideas for the shoot. This allowed us to work well together and get to know each other better, resulting in a most successful session.
Capturing Beauty in Winter Park
Carly’s photo shoot was set against the stunning backdrop of Winter Park, Florida. Known for its charming architecture and picturesque landscapes, Winter Park was the perfect location for this photoshoot. With plenty of options for photo sessions, we started off at the scenic Rollins College campus, moved to the chic Park Avenue shopping district, and finished at one of my favorite spots – the top floor of a parking garage that offered the most breathtaking sunset views.
A Thoughtful Selection of Outfits and Props
Carly’s careful selection of outfits and props for her photo shoot was nothing short of impressive. Her clear vision for the shoot was evident in the aesthetic she wanted to achieve. By pairing a floral dress with romantic undertones, Carly created a feminine vibe. Meanwhile, the jeans and white and green shirt combination was relaxed and casual. The addition of shorts paired with her University of Florida shirt not only showed off her school pride but also added a pop of color to the shoot.
